You know that moment when people tell you something devastating but you refuse to accept it not wanting reality to come crashing down and ruin your life. Well I knew that sooner or later it would. I was enjoying what I had left. I was trying to save myself from heartbreak but in the end it didn't work.
Everybody warned me of what he was doing. But I refused to accept. I was blinded by what you call love; but was love the right word to describe our relationship. When I finally got proof of what I refused to accept, I was heartbroken. My perfect world came crashing down. I was suffocating. I was a coward, I left. But now they're back and I'm different.
Pain makes you stronger.
Fear makes you braver.
Heartbreak makes you wiser.
Or at least that's what they say.
