A Prelude to a journey. A Prologue to the story.

This collection contains some of the earliest works from when I began writing in a more "serious" fashion, back in the 1990s. It traverses my stay in Cairns, in Far North Queensland (Australia) - when, well, things were very different.

It is as to be expected - experimental at times, poignant, rambling, adolescently cringing and, at others times a deeply personal, yet, yes, cryptic account of my life there.

It has been a long journey. This is the beginning.
