Blake Belladonna unexpectedly finds herself at a concert - loud, crowded and full of hyped up teenage girls, it's a place she would much rather avoid. She runs into Yang - boisterous, underdressed and a bit too amiable for Blake's liking, she is quick to dismiss the blonde party-goer.
Little does she know, she's caught Yang's attention, and the bookish senior student is surprised to find accepting Yang's offer for a drink as easily as she does.
(College AU, in which Blake is a still a Faunus. Closely linked to White Rose Tea. Bumblebee is the name for BlakexYang, while Bright Lights refers to the concert, and to Beacon.)

Taking a risk, Yang and Ruby decide to set off for the farm house and start new lives near the small town of Apis Mellifera, a small town kept in shape by the Belladonna family. When Yang sneaks off from a party to follow a mysterious black-haired girl, what would come of her new life in the small town? This was started way back in 2019 and initially "completed" in 2021, but I recently re-read it and saw a lot of errors and saw a very rushed ending so I actually for real finished it now! The fall of Beacon Academy left Yang with her fair share of scars, both physical and mental. Recovering from her injuries back home in Patch, she spends her nights sleepless as the memory of her failure to protect her partner keeps her awake. When confronted with the possibility that Blake is, once again, in danger Yang sets out to find her. A familiar black ribbon remains tied around her wrist. She will not fail her again. Running. Blake was becoming a master at it. After her partner nearly died trying to save her, Blake ran home to Menagerie. She can't run from her nightmares though as she wakes almost every night screaming for Yang. When her demons once again catch up to her Blake is left with no other option than to face them. The familiar red shotgun shell tied around her neck a constant reminder of what they took from her. She will not let them hurt her again. As both girls discover their reasons for protecting their partner they also begin to discover more about themselves. Is it just partners wanting to protect each other...or is it much more? Two, yang her half sister is attending it. Three, to keep the promise that she make together with her childhood friend who she is in love with since young. Which is to go to the best academy in the four kingdoms which is beacon of course. Though she knew it will be one in a million chance that she can find her. She still want to go. Weiss schee have everything she need but that's not what she wanted. She wanted to share her music and fight for the people just like her doltky childhood friend who she is secretly in love with. So she decided to go to beacon as its the best Academy in the four kingdoms. But there is another reason too. She wanted to keep her promise with her childhood friend which is to go to the best academy in the four kingdoms. Even though her chances of meeting her childhood is slim she still wanted to go. But little do they know that they have found their childhood friend which is each other. Will they finally realise what they were looking for is right infront of them? Hopelessness consumed her thoughts. For who could ever learn to love a beast? ~ I've seen maybe a couple AUs of the "Beauty and the Beast" theory between this pairing. I thought it'd be fun to write up another one! Just a heads up as well, Blake is "Beauty" and Yang is the "Beast".
