Through the ashes of a war that almost led them to extinction, rose the remains of humanity. Learning from their past mistakes, humans chose to live a life full of happiness and contentment. A life free from suffering, despair, disease and unprovoked death was what they aimed to create. This altruistic thought gave birth to an idealistic society called the Centre.

Violet Jaeger was a proud citizen of this society and had recently turned twenty-three. She was finally eligible for the quarterly Lottery, the winners of which had the privilege of working for and with the flawless system that governed them. A system kept perfectly in place by its three strong arms - Governance, Research and Military.

A perfect score in the designated aptitude test gives Violet the opportunity to choose her path in life. Having always been curious to see what's beyond the confines of her home, she chooses the path that allows her to explore the elements unknown.

However, what makes up the unknown ends up surprising her more than she expects.All Rights Reserved

The weather was certainly the only thing that was typical these days, although you'd never know it by looking around the bus at most of the kids as they sat joking and gossiping with each other just like they had before... before that day everything had changed. Oh and then there are just the Loners like me hoping to find somewhere they can fit in and belong. I don't know what made me go this route but for some reason I did and now I'm standing face to face with a Reluquos Army Leader. His strong arm grips onto my Shoulder stopping me from moving, He regards me coolly studying my face for signs of fear, which I'm trying my damned hardest to suppress. Finally he talks....
