Parker Evans is a high class social God. He had everything. He had the girl, head cheerleader Lola Pactrige, the good grades, good looks, and the position of quarterback on their high school team. Every day was like blessing most people would say. But to him, he wished it could be different. He wished he could have her. And by her, he doesn't mean his two tyming slut of a girlfriend. He means Layla Reynolds. The beautiful talented Layla Reynolds . The singing and gorgeous Layla Reynolds . Oh how he wished he could have her too. Nothing compared to her. But she wouldn't be into him. He's just the captain of the football team. He's nothing. Layla Reynolds wasn't as popular as Parker Evans but everybody knew her name. She starred in all the dramas and musicals that Westbrook High put on. She had the voice and she fit every role so perfectly. She had good grades and a perfect life.
