Autumn Rayne was a normal 17 year old girl. She was on the high school's softball team, joined the chorus club, and takes the after school dance class her mom insisted on her taking. But her normal life changes quickly when she sneaks out to a party her parents said no too. Autumn is taken from her world and into a world unlike her own. To a world filled with beings her parents always said were fictional.
Lucian Blackthorn was born into royalty making him a rare pure blood. After his parents sudden death he has to take his place as the new king. The new king of his race. Vampires. Lucian filled with dread of his parents death and having to take the throne, decides to leave his world to the human world to take a walk to think. While taking his walk he sees a girl. And he wants this girl.
