After defeating Shaka, Voltrax, and Lucifer in a battle that nearly tore their world apart, Jason and his team return home scarred but united. For a brief moment, it feels like peace has finally come. But their victory has consequences. News of gods and monsters tearing through California can't be contained. The government authorizes a sweeping crackdown on anyone displaying supernatural abilities, branding them as national threats. Suddenly, the team is no longer seen as saviors-they're fugitives. Every move they make must be in secret. Every power they use risks exposure. Jason struggles to balance leadership with the need to keep his fire hidden. Tyler's Sight becomes harder to control under pressure, especially as his visions hint that something worse is coming. Tara wrestles with cravings she can't indulge without drawing suspicion. Chloe fears her Siren's voice will betray them at the wrong moment. Gabrielle carries the guilt of Jordan's sacrifice and begins to withdraw from the group. And Carlos-ever the outsider-enjoys the chaos a little too much, even as he fights to protect them. While dodging patrols, raids, and drones designed to detect supernatural signatures, the team uncovers whispers of a new threat: a paranormal predator that leaves its victims empty shells, drained of both life and memory. Unlike demons or gods, this creature can't be fought with brute force-it hunts quietly, slips through shadows, and seems immune to the team's usual methods. As the government closes in and paranoia within the group grows, the team must learn how to fight without revealing themselves-and how to stay united when fear and secrecy begin to erode their bond. But the creature isn't just feeding; it's searching. And the closer it gets, the clearer it becomes: someone among them is its true target.
