An overused phrase that has lost all meaning. All through life, people encourage you to be yourself but then, there are those people out there that target you because you're an individual.
If you're different, you are Target. No, not the store. Target as in THE target. You get shoved and kicked and punched but that's only if you're lucky.
You try to be yourself and you get targeted and then you see the ones that torture you. They're at the top of the social food chain. Girls starve themselves and boys take steroids.
They act like those snotty b*tches you see in TV. You act like an individual. You show your flaws, eat food when you're hungry and what do you get? Tortured.

The world is screwed up place. Everyone in it just wants peace when it isn't promised to nobody. We work for ourselves to try to improve our ways of life only for someone who has more to take it.
