Just a couple of short stories that I wrote. I wanted to organize it so that the number of stories would probably decrease. Some of the first few I call decent, the last few are the worst of the bunch. But enjoy! I hope you do! This is a collection of short-stories and flash-fiction. Each narrative is complete and independent, and can be read in any order. Although varying in length, they are all relatively short, to present a quick and fun read, while you're on the go. Each one presents a view, theme, or idea to entertain as well as provoke your imagination and critical thinking. The characters are varied and as confused about the ever evolving modern world as the rest of us. They include tales of cyborgs, alien worlds, alternate futures, supernatural transformations, and the spiritual crises and transitions new technologies will demand of our soul. The characters include space nomads, time-traveling detectives, artificial consciousness, and ordinary people grappling with rapid and uncontrollable change. Hope you enjoy!

No Man Left Behind by BMFox_

An intelligent entity by the name of Unilife captures the attention of an ancient alien race, who must decide whether or not to make first contact with the human race in order to stop this fast-learning, genocidal entity . . . And after encountering the entity themselves, Humanity must decide between fighting Unilife to the bitter end, or fleeing the Milky Way Galaxy altogether. This short story is a precursor to other writings to come. Essentially, I'm using my experience from writing this as a springboard for future planned projects. Sidenote: this project was originally drafted in Google Docs. For some reason, when copying over to Wattpad, Wattpad converts all the em dashes to regular hyphens. Be on the lookout for that, as it completely slaughters the meaning of certain sentences and phrases which use em dashes. Entries for Wattpad Short Story's contest "12 Days of Writing" ✨Winner 12 Days of Writing (day 6 - horror)✨ ✨Winner 12 Days of Writing (day 11 - action)✨ I started this at Christmas and the deadline was December 31 and I can say, without any doubt, that this has been the most words I have ever written within one week. Not all the stories are holiday themed You might notice that there are no names mentioned anywhere in the book. This is simply because I suck at thinking of names for book characters. Every prompt has its own genre (science fiction, horror, fantasy, etc.) and the stories are no longer than a 1000 words. Please note that this was the first time that I have written in some of these genres, so all I can say is that I did my best. Have fun reading!

Years ago when a young orphaned girl, advanced cybernetics were surgically installed into Avia's brain. Able to hack into virtually any computer, control system, or AI, she and others like her became child soldiers in an interstellar war. But once the war was won, the Sol Federation turned on them, labeling them Aberrants, dangers to humanity to be deactivated and locked away. Now on the run, Avia fled from a fate she considered worse than death. Zach, a former rebellious member of the social Elite, traded jail time for bounty hunting. With a relentlessness Avia did not understand, he pursued her across the galaxy. But Zach had other plans for Avia than turning her in. All Avia ever wanted was a normal life someplace where she was loved, and she loved in return. But between a humanity threatening conspiracy and fellow Aberrants that truly earned the label, that seemed an impossible dream.
