She's the perfect child. Does her chores, listens to her parents. She does everything she's told to do. Never disobeys her parents. In every way, she's they're perfect daughter.

Yet she has a secret. One that may cause her demise. For years she has been trying to make her parents see the real her, telling them something's wrong. However when they don't believe her, refusing to believe their perfect child has any imperfections, she gives up and slowly becomes worse, struggling to survive each day. After a while, knowing she doesn't have much time left alive, she tries to make her last few months the best they can be for her parents.

But when they still don't notice how sick she's become, her charade is slowly falling apart. Her perfection is becoming unraveled revealing a hurt child that had been hidden within an angel. Her parents begin to worry, sending her to counselor after counselor. However they continually say nothing is wrong, as they only see the mask she's perfected over the years, one she has used so often she doesn't realize she's hidden behind walls of her own mind. The counselors give her back to her parents and she's beginning to hate herself as she blames herself, thinking maybe it's her fault that her parents are worrying, so she runs away.

Then she meets him. He saves her from the drunken driver who almost runs her over. Everyone talks about him. The infamous bad-boy of the town. But he might be the only one to bring back the old her, the one that wasn't broken, for he's struggling with his own demons. (His parents are liking him out because of his image, but he's struggling w keeping image up too)

They're polar opposites, but together they might just save each other. Or is it already too late to save her?
