When 12-year old Percy Jackson arrives at camp one evening after defeating the Minotaur, questions arise. Someone had recently stolen Zeus's thunderbolt, the Elementine, and the Orb. Then there's the dilemma with Amyst and Percy, who are brother and sister, but when will the right time for Amyst to tell Percy that they are siblings? And with the Orb gone, all the endarklings are escaping throughout the world and evil will tip the balance unless Amyst, Percy, Grover and Annabeth can somehow stop it all before the winter solace, all the while preventing a deadly war.
