SPLATOON: The Octarian Race
Eliana is an inkling who only remembers about joining a race of octarians and octolings who kill innocent inklings. As member 8, she remains constantly working with all the octoling members including with the befriended 5th member, Flynn. Ultimately, the race's goal is a mystery, but they cannot complete it without Eliana. However after being kidnapped and taken to Inkopolis by a male inkling with mysterious powers, Eliana then starts to wonder about who she was before she joined the octarians. When Callie is late to the Halloween party, Marie agrees to tell the others a story to kill the time. The story takes place long ago and is about a scientist that has no other dream but to create life. After many failures, he is forced to seek help from hooded figures that appear one night. He succeeds, but gets trapped in deal he can't escape from. A few months later, a shadow starts terrorizing the land of Inkopolis. It strikes at night, it's blade cutting down everyone that gets in it's way. One night, four travelers gather to stop the shadow, and go out to fight it. Our protagonist: a spunky, clever, and determined Inkling named Zaki who runs away from home and goes to Inkopolis, hotspot of the biggest new sport: ink battles! She tries to find her niche as a battler and makes a few friends along the way, like the kind but fussy Mikado, an introspective sharpshooter named Keiso, and Teruo, a self-proclaimed roller gal with a sparkling personality, but she also finds a few rivals... Oh, and she also gets roped into becoming Agent 3 of the Squidbeak Splatoon, on a mission to rescue the Zapfish from the Octarians, who have returned after the Great Turf War of 100 years ago. So she's living the dream, but she's also living a bizarre double life. One she'll have to keep from her friends. They wouldn't want her doing shady stuff, right? I do not own Splatoon or any of the characters except for Zaki, Mikado, Keiso, Teruo, Biito, and a few minor characters. Cover design is mine.
