"Stop hitting her you fucking basterd, she's your fucking DAUGHTER!!" my mother yells hitting him on his back just witnessing the blood dripping down my busted lip and the black eye that was forming on my left eye.
"Shut the fuck up you bitch, its what this little whore deserves" he says while getting up and kicking my stomach.
All I see is him grabbing the bottle of whiskey for the mini bar we have and the apartment door slamming close, while hearing my mother and sisters crying while i just let the cough of blood come and all i can remember is the darkness come over me.

As I see my mom walk out the door I look at my dad smiling at me. The way he smiled at me made realize how afraid he was. I glance at him and give him a fake smile before he comes up to me and gives me a hug. The warmth of his body was reassuring but I feel the tears start to come down his face. I didn't want to lose him......ever. My dad Kevin who always is there by my side needed me there for him I glance at him and smile and he kisses my cheek. He whispers "Everything...will be alright."
