She was asleep, lying on her bed, blue hair cascading around her shoulders, lips curved into a smile. She looked peaceful.
She was sitting on the kitchen counter, her face scrunched up with laughter, the sound ringing throughout the house. She looked happy.
She was driving with the windows down, strands of hair flying into her face, music blaring, singing along. It was her favorite song. She looked free.
She was sitting by her window at two in the morning, just watching the sky. She was thinking about how small she was compared to the universe. She looked hopeful.
