WINNER 2015 Wattys #JustWriteIt challenge.

Oh my. What large teeth you have?

"As you're pretty so be wise, wolves may lurk in every guise."

Phobias; we all have them. Heights, Cats, men, women, crying children, Time. They take multiple annoying forms. Me; let's just say I could fill an encyclopedia.

Hi; Cyra here. I'll go right ahead and tell you the moral of the story; never trust a stranger, even if it's only all in your head.

The sweetest tongue most definitely has the sharpest tooth.

Red Riding Hood has won a Watty. Thank you all.

Five Star Reviews for Atlantis Academy: "Omg this book was amazing I couldn't put it down or stop reading. I carried it with me open on my phone while I did everything just to keep reading. I need more of all of this. Epic story, epic content, epic visuals, just epic. LOVE THIS!" "Once I got into this story, I did not stop reading it. This is a beautiful story about a very awkward girl who is riven with so much pain and angst and yet... this makes her who she is and shapes her into the person she will become. The world she finds herself awakened to is magical and yet filled with the all-too-familiar cliques and tribes of the very human people who inhabit it. One word to describe the story: beautiful!" "The story pulls you headlong to the end and leaves you wanting to shout "No! Not yet!" ...If there were 6 stars, I would have given it that." *** Humanity is one secret society away from extinction. The children of Atlantis use magic to keep us safe. If they make it through the Academy. Hi, I'm Lyric. And I'm kind of a mess. ADHD, that's me. I'm a high school drop-out, late everywhere I go, and one screw-up away from being homeless. I'm a loner, and I like it that way. Who needs friends when you have a Redwood forest nearby? Trees never bully me like the kids did at school. Or get drunk and throw things at my head. After my mom died, I figured life couldn't get much worse. I thought it might even get better. Ha. The universe has a great sense of humor. I should've listened to the rumors about evil spirits. About the angry, ancient magical creatures haunting our small Oregon Coast town. But did I? No. That was my first mistake. And it might be my last. 'Cause now I'm in a battle for my life. A whole new world has opened up... a magical world I don't understand. And the blood in my veins says I belong here. But I have to prove myself to save myself. And when have I ever done that?

Have you ever had anything strange happen to you that you couldn't explain? One moment you're normal, the next... Well, it happened to me. On my sixteenth birthday, my life changed forever. I learned that day I was different. I have a gift... And I've been hunted by men intending to capture or kill me just because of what I can do. I'm Telekinetic, a mover they call me. I can move objects with just my thoughts. I can do things that most other people only dream about. Except sometimes a dream can start out exciting, and quickly become a nightmare. My name is Kyle... and this is my story. "The Hunted One " is part one of the series. Part two is called "Caitlin's Way". And part three, " Destiny " is also completed. I've also finished writing "The Presence." It's a ghost story with my kind of twist and takes place at the same time as my first two stories and If you're a Hunted One reader, you may find the ending interesting... I also have a story called "Return of the Black Eyed Children " It's based on the legend. (Look it up on Google) My latest is called "Vengeful Spirits." I'm sure the tittle describes what it's about... Please consider all my stories as a first draft. I'll be editing/polishing as time allows. Highest ranking for "The Hunted One" #45 in Paranormal on 09/29/17 And as always silent readers are always welcome. Votes and Comments are always much appreciated! The woods are not a place for a girl like her. She knows. But it only makes her more curious. Curiosity killed the cat, she was warned. She did not give heed for she was no cat. Red, or at least what everyone calls her, the girl in the red hoodie wants to go to the woods. The place her grandmother forbids her from going without an explanation. For in there, she's likely to get killed by shape shifting wolves- hunters. Determined to go to the woods, Red meets her first hunter, a huge white wolf with eyes as blue as the midnight sky. She knows what a wolf like that could do. A wolf like that could kill her too. A Red Riding Hood Retelling. The Girl Who Cried Wolf © 2022 Jedayo. Currently editing!
