This is my story of being silenced growing up. Pretending to be something I wasn't, for the sake of being safe from my own loved ones...

If I came out to them that I was trans... bad things could've happened. But now that I'm older and on my own, I'm free to be who I always was. I've broken out of that cage and I couldn't be more happier. 

I am me.
