(Mature only from Chapter Sota X)

Three years after the defeat of Mechtavius Destroyer, Bakugan on Earth has returned to what it was: a game. Tournaments are held, and Bakugan has evolved into a fully fledged sport, in which Shun Kazami and the Bakugan Battle Brawlers compete.

Sota Itsuki, a student at the Bakugan Battle Brawler's School of Brawling, embarks on his journey with Bakugan as he and his partner are thrown into the sport. However, he must also do his bit to help the Brawlers find Dan, who went on a journey after the defeat of Mechtavius Destroyer and hasn't been heard from in over two years.

Elsewhere, a portal called the Vestal-Earth Gate, or V.E.G., is close to completion, and on Vestal, new enemies to the Bakugan species are stirring, plotting to purge Bakugan out of existence through unknown means. The Brawlers must fight to defend Bakugan everywhere, and along the way find help in the most unlikely of places.
