This prophecy is for the vindolorians, whose emperor suddenly went mad. Vindoloria is a land with animals, everyone has a 'bonder' an animal who is their companion. Sarah is transported to this realm through a storm, and doesn't realize the danger she faces but another girl, Kela, knows all too well. With the emperor after the special bonders, people who have bonded with mythical creatures it seems for Sarah that the danger couldn't get bigger, and yet, with the Unicorn Thorn as her bonder, who knows?
