Newfound Sensations

Patrick walked along the carved road that seemed to be a little beyond ancient, almost as if he had taken this route like it was a shortcut home from school, but in all honesty he had never even seen this road before in his lifetime, though not long, it still would make a difference. He looked over at the sign that had once been freshly painted many years ago, perhaps it was once of use, but no more, Patrick read the street name.
