In year 10 of school was the year that everything changed. That was the year I stopped calling my house a home. The year my mom fell apart, the year my father left, the year I had to become stronger on the inside out, and the year Adam Higgins moved next door. I was nothing compared to him or what he fit into, the day he walked into the first day of sophomore year. He went straight with the jocks while I just went and sat by the sycamore tree. We came from different worlds, but he's a part of the story. Trust me, he changed everything. The day he thought I had no grammar when I spoke to my house.

Bring It

Ever had your whole life played out in front of you? You knew exactly what you wanted to do. Then you change it. And change it. And change it. Like when your 5, you were going to marry the Prince and become a Princess. Yeah right. Then you turn 10 and think 'that was a stupid idea'. And suddenly your Science teacher tells you you can be anything. So you want to become an Astronaut. Okay, that totally sounds like a possibility. Then at 13, you'll think you can become a professional football player or become famous. By now, that Princess idea is sounding pretty realistic. But even when you're in college, you want to change. You never know. Well let me tell you one thing. That is not me. I've known what I've wanted to be since I could first talk. And believe me. When I say I'm going to do something, I do it. No matter how hard. Even if it means coming close to death.
