I am their Alpha. Violet can't do it, and my dad will have to retire soon. I am the only one who can continue the family lineage of alphas. I am the only one who can run the pack." I paused and bit my lip.
"If I was your mate, I become your Luna. I have to leave Timber and leave my responsibility as their alpha." I stared up into his eyes. " As much as every fiber of me is aching to be yours. For you to claim me. To mark me," I stopped, placing my hands on his chest. I heard his breath hitch."I have a pack to think about. Erik, I wish things were simpler. I really do. But you should understand, as well as I do, the duty you have to your pack. I can't just drop that." I kissed his cheek and turned to walk away from my alpha mate.

The only time I would get out of the alpha position is when I find my mate, then I would become luna, which I'm perfectly fine with. Well I thought i would, but i didn't know being luna ment getting... Sorry, my mind goes a hundred different places.
