Have you ever wished there was more color, more life, more magic in this world?

In a world slowly bleeding to grey, an ageless man known as The Magician suddenly appears out of thin air and enlists the help of a bright, hopeful girl named Alex to travel with him to alternate Earth to help save the people from both worlds from the White Tyrant who seeks to destroy imagination and rule a mindless world.

Filled with horrifying futures and enhanced truths taken from the modern world, A World Without Color introduces a Dystopia that is both unsettling yet revealing. Yet with the help of Alex, the hopefulness and purity of youth might be able to save the dying worlds and remind the people why life without color, is not life at all.

Five men from different parts of the world tried committing suicide at the exact same time after going through certain hardships and ugly circumstances in their various lives. They were fed up with life and felt that there was no point to continue living. So, suicide was their only option to escape reality. As each of them was about to commit their own form of suicide, a mystical being suddenly appeared individually to them. These beings or entities were also five in number, just like the men. The mystical beings, all wearing long hoodie-type cloths that slightly covered their feet and of many different colors matching their skin tones, proposed a solution to each of the men, telling them that there is a way to change their fate for the better. Each of those men was very much terrified when they encountered these mystical beings, which looked like elves in appearance, but they accepted their offer, which they saw as a chance of changing their fate. The mystical beings did not actually tell them the way to change their fate but opened a rainbow multidimensional portal and all said the same thing, which is "FOLLOW ME IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE YOUR FATE," with a hand gesture signaling "follow me" towards the man they are individually with. These men did not hesitate but followed them through the portal with the mindset that they didn't have anything to lose by doing so, and they saw it as a chance of gaining salvation. In other words, a chance to be saved from their present predicament or situation and being improved or made new circumstantially. They don't know what awaits them on the other side they are entering, but as the story unfolds, it will all be revealed. _________________________________ INCLUDES: *Mystical elves *A mystical god *Romance *Multi-protagonist Start Date: 12/27/2023 End Date: 02/17/2024 Word Count: 62K Genres: Fantasy, Drama and Psychological © 2023 [First Edition]

Even though they had always fought for something different, he never could have imagined just how far they would drift apart. There was no way he could ever be prepared for what he was about to do to her though. What he did was unthinkable, impossible even. He spent every day by her side after he saved her life, tending to her injuries during her coma, while dealing with the guilt of it all being his, and only his fault. Desperately, he tries to find forgiveness and reconnect with his best friend and crush, but her betrayal burns Fire Red. ----------------- Written for CRW Introduction to Short Story Writing at Flagler College in September 2022, Final revision in December 2022 ----------------- Status: Completed © _elixxir
