She's been raised 18th century-style: she wears petticoats and corsets, does embroidery and is home schooled by her strict mother. Her life changes dramatically when Annette is forced to enter high school. No one here wears petticoats and people laugh at her strange manner of speaking. Annette knows something need to change... but how can she stay true to herself and integrate at the same time?
