"You couldn't play soccer for your life," he says, his smirk starting to annoy the hell out of me.

"Oh yeah? Watch me," I hiss between gritted teeth before spinning around and walking away, making sure to sway my hips.

He thinks I can't play? I'll show him.

Game. On.

Jackie Parkers. The legacy of the highly overrated high school soccer coach. And in the hugely corrupted world, she's got an easy chance on the team. Except that she can't play for her life.

Dylan Harrison. Soccer legend. The field is his and he knows it. He's got an easy chance in any university. Only problem? He can't afford it.

Jackie has something Dylan wants- money.
Dylan has something Jackie wants- soccer.

When Jackie inevitably fails soccer tryouts, she's offered something any sane girl would do continuous cartwheel flips for.

Dylan Harrison is her new private coach.
And only fate can decide whether or not she'll faint.

"If I could pick anyone in the entire world, in the entire world, Will, I'd still choose you." *** William Nile has always felt a lack of control in his life. His head's clustered and the past likes to eat at his thoughts. Isolation is a synonym for safety and staying neutral is a key ingredient for survival. He's always felt more put together when he was a mess; always felt like the world was clearer in the dark. He can't help it, this is just how it's always been. Then comes along a new foster family who throws him for a loop. They're exactly who they say they are, exactly who they act to be. With that comes a goofy boy named Clement and his best friends, annoying twins who laugh loudly- -good luck telling Jude and Demi apart- -and a girl named Minnie who has a god complex. Will knew from the day he arrived that he needs to focus on acting the way his foster moms want, on getting good grades, at playing soccer well and making sure that for once, he doesn't mess up. He knows he doesn't want to lose these friends, knows he wants to feel wanted and needed and understood. Because here, there is more focus on his mental health than there is on if he's acting the 'right' way. Here, there is room for growth and change past a foster parent's ideal child. Here, there's no room for entertaining the idea of him with a pretty boy who has a witty smile and a loud laugh. On that last note, he has no idea what to do (and Will is someone who likes to plan ahead). *** A coming of age story.

I closed my eyes tightly until I heard laughing. No, I could feel the laughing. My eyes sprang open to find Miles on top of me. I was laying flat on my back in the dirt with my glove with the ball inside pressed against his chest. Miles was not at all fat, but he was 6'2 compared to my barely 5'3. I could feel his chest rumbling and shaking with laughter as I lay humiliated on the ground. "I didn't know you liked being on the bottom," Miles said loudly. The whole field cracked up with that. I struggled under him and shoved him off of me. All of the guys were howling with laughter as I got up and swiped all the dirt off me. "Pervert," I muttered, before tossing the ball out of my glove to hit him in the thigh. I stalked across the field without another word. The whole team was in hysterics as I shoved all my things in my bag and practically ran off to get away. ... Gloria is like any other 17 year old girl getting ready for summer break, but this summer is going to be completely different. Being a girl in the world of a male-dominated sport, she couldn't even count how many times people have told her she needed to find something else to do. Her dad kept her playing though, even after he died a few years ago, that didn't stop Gloria from doing what she loved. The only problem is she is the only girl at the camp for three months. Enter the problem of suddenly having to share a room, more specifically, sharing with Miles Harris. Gloria must deal with Miles, a big shot and arrogant jerk, and all the other horny, testosterone driven baseball players, who just might push Gloria off the edge of sanity. Summer Jones doesn't have a perfect life - a crazy half family, dropping grades and absolutely no idea on what she's doing in life. This tomboy has no care in the world about anything except her sleep, food and loved ones. In that order (or not). But someone's about to crash that scale of preference and make her mind even crazier. Caleb Anderson seemed to have a perfect life. He had the looks, the crazy psycho girls running behind him and amazing soccer skills. What more could he need, right? Wrong. All he needed was a wild Summer Jones to spice his life up and all she needed was an arrogant Caleb Anderson to show her how to live fully in life. Would these two completely independent people, go past their hatred for each other and depend on that one chance brought to them? *** "I just got started. Wait and watch how I ruin your entire existence." He narrows his eyes at me, challenging me to come at him. "Are you sure you didn't just walk into the wall when you were young? You seem to have had your head hit pretty bad considering the consequential brain cells loss." I say while crossing my arms over my chest to get my point across. "Take care of those heavy words, blondie. You might just have to pay for them." That seemed to anger him so I smirked even more, despite him calling me blondie. Trust me, I've got that a lot. "It's okay, I anyways don't deal with cheap stuff like you." I throw him the most sarcastic smile I could ever muster. Told you it's a love-hate relationship. A humorous non-cliché story with absolute madness, relatable characters, lots of laughter and lots of conflicting emotions from Summer and Caleb. Warning: contains some abusive content. Written by a 16-year-old who has no idea on how to write all this. Promise it gets better after a few chapters :) *** Ranked #1 in badboy on 13/11/2019 #1 in summer #7 in #teenfiction #2 in #hateatfirstsight #1 in Caleb

"Very funny" "This is no joke, congratulations!" "W-what?" I stuttered. "No, please say your lying" "I'm afraid not" I looked over to Dylan who's eyes were wide and he just stared at me.
