We open in Greymist. A country of four leaders, four lands, and four strategies. The four rarely agree, but when they do, there is nary a way to oppose them. The one subject all the leaders agree upon is the Cursed.

For years the Cursed have roamed the land, finding no shelter from the weather, beasts, or the magic that inhabit both. The four lands of Nuli, Estais, Sura, and Wicaresse all shunned them. Always alone, never accepted.

Aielith was built to change all that. Or so they say. No one truly knows how it was built. Some say the leaders of the kingdoms built it to keep the Cursed away. Others say the Cursed made it appear through their collective talents and needs. Some say the land itself took pity upon the poor wanderers. All that is known is that it was built in a single night.

The young Cursed are sent to the castle at age ten and released at age twenty. By then most have learned to control the powers that they are burdened with. The ones that had not were executed for years. But today they are simply kept to work at Aielith as servants.

On Emigration Day, the hearts of the people are lifted, the hopes of the child Cursed are dashed, and the adult Cursed may move on to face the world - if they are not permanently attached to Aielith, as many have become over the recent years.

Omen of the Sun Book One: Secrets in Shadows ✅ by Hollyleaf_
33 parts Complete
To a loner named Sun, life's been hard ever since her mother left her because of a power she didn't understand. On her own for just about three moons, she thinks she's hardened and strong enough to take on any cat who comes at her. Oh, how was she wrong. Soon, she runs into the four Clans: CloudClan, HollyClan, BreezeClan, and FlowerClan. She joins CloudClan, determined to start over and make a new life for herself. She doesn't need her mother. She doesn't need anyone but her new family, her Clanmates. On the night of her official welcoming into the Clan, something changes her mind: a prophecy, from the ancestors of her Clanmates. The prophecy states that the "apple will rise." The daughter of the leader, Applefoot, was never friendly with her. Suddenly, a plot seems to be uncovering itself right in front of Sunpaw's eyes. And with her power, she's the perfect candidate to rise to the top and save everyone. But something is stopping her. Something is tainting her soul, persuading her to use her powers for evil, and not good. Unless she can break free of what's binding her, she won't be able to use her powers for good. All she'll be able to do is cause pain, more pain, and even more pain. But it's not so easy, especially when she's got herself tangled in the ropes of the darkness. Suddenly, she realizes that she's no better than Applefoot. Paired with slowly falling hopelessly in love with a cat who never is clear with her, breaking free of her dark insides is seeming harder and harder. If she can't do it, then she'll never be able to see the face of good again. She'll be another apprentice gone wrong, and all she'll be remembered for is darkness. Sunpaw can't let that happen. But unless she figures out how to cut herself free from the darkness, then it will happen. And there will be nothing she can do it about it.
Arcadia Academy - The school in the forest by the_willfred
80 parts Complete
16-year-old Ryan is probably the only orphan in all of England whose parents are still alive. At least, that's what his visions are telling him. When Ryan finds out about a school that no one's ever heard of, he knows that school is somehow the key to finding his parents. But when he finally makes it through the wolf forest to get there, nothing goes as planned. Because there is a reason Ryan grew up separated from his family and the life he should've known. And a reason why it might've been for the best if he'd never found his way back home again. There is already someone expecting his arrival, someones who's ready to risk it all for revenge, and when Ryan wakes up ater being attacked, he's not entirely himself anymore. And whatever has become of him, it's clear that he's now a threat to everyone around him. Turns out Ryans parents are the leaders of a pack of werewolves, deadset on keeping the school and their whole society hidden from humans, and protected from vampires. In this new world, where everyone has a different motive to want him gone, Ryan has to fight for his right to stay with the werewolves and stay in control of his own self, otherwise he'll never see his parents again, and he might just be what causes the destruction of the whole werewolf pack for good. ***** I would say this story is fine for ages 14 and up. This story is finished, but in Swedish ;) It's around 110k words and I have now finished translating it into English! I have currently uploaded more than half of the book (I'd say the midpoint is around chapter 44), and the whole thing will be uploaded probably before August. This story takes place in northern England, and I am obviously not English! So if you are from England, and have some feedback for me regarding use of words and such, please let me know, I greatly appreciate it.

Daughter of Heaven and Earth

26 parts Complete

Being the byproduct of their love, she wanders earth searching for her purpose. Surely her mother didn't send her down here with the mortals for no reason. Perhaps it was to send her to her father. Or perhaps her mother cursed her to live in the miserable world full of humans to belittle her. The reason doesn't matter anymore not after years of being on earth. A mother should never abandon their child, no matter what she's trying to accomplish. As she sent to earth to live the rest of her immortal life, her anger towards her mother grows and she turns to her father who is more than happy to take her under his claws. *NOT EDITED*
