The Wildfire Virus. That's the illness the eggheads have called dubbed that has spread alarmingly fast all over the world. No could figure out at first how and where it came from or how even spread so quickly. I was on leave, visiting brother in Boston when the infection hit. Yesterday, the world was normal with its own conflicts. The next, millions get sick, hospitals are overwhelmed, and any sort of space was converted into a makeshift hospital to handle all the sick. On day 2 the sick died and awoke attacking the living. I tried to get out of the city, but the military closed off every major access point and now I'm trapped within, along with millions of undead. Sarah vs the world | Greys anatomy
Most of the story is in Sarah's pov. TW: panic attacks, survivors guilt, anxiety, and depressive episodes. 12 year old Sarah and her dad live in a small town right outside of Seattle Washington. She got woke up late at night by her dad saying they had to run. He got her in a safe spot and went to help other people. A few moments later she heard a loud bang and decided to run the other way.
