My name is Kyra, I am 17 years old and I live among Vampyres. I live with my adoptive parents in this freaking huge mansion. Of course they are Vampyres, worse Purebloods. Just my luck.
By the way since I am not like most humans people assume my biological parents were Hunters with a Vampyre in the bloodline.
My life was mostly peaceful until that fateful accident at my school and now I have to change schools. Dad says it's to keep me safe and he was so wrong. Life got even more complicated. Thank God I have my best friends with me whose life get as complicated as mine.

I killed my friends and it's my fault. But feels unexpectedly euphoric... Kyra is the Devils daughter but she doesn't know it. Every time I tried to stop, something clenched in my stomach, instinctual and feral. It compelled me to move. Sometimes it felt like it was pulling me in the opposite direction, back the way I came.
