Across Dimensions

Two figures stood alone in the distance. Both were breathing hard on a cliff ledge staring at a sea of dust and rock from forgotten lands. They had weapons drawn, bodies poised for an attack. Checking their surroundings one more time the two began to jog along the edge heading north. Continuing on, their muscles began to ache and exhaustion started to sweep into their overworked bodies. They were running........... But from what?
