The story takes place in West Jordan Utah
and the main characters in the story is a girl named Mikie Marks
and a boys named Luke Marky.
Mikie and Luke have been friends for all their life and Luke has to move away and won't be able to see her for a long time so he gives her a going away present which is a half heart necklace and he keeps the other half so they will remember eachother.
Later on in life Luke and Mikie find eachother and sparks will be flying
so expect some romance between Mikie and Luke
