Riley Anne Cerviera was just about to begin her senior year in high school. For some people, this meant one last chance to enjoy their time with friends they would never see again. Maybe some time to enjoy life before they were catapulted into the real world. But for Riley, this meant another year of pure torture.
At least, that's what she thought.
What Riley didn't know was that she'd be spending her last year of high school in a new school, in a completely different state. Riley got something she never thought would be possible; a chance to start over.
When she arrives in Calabasas, California, her new life begins. As the year progresses, Riley makes friends and finds herself discovering things about the past of a boy with a hidden agenda. Along the way Riley finds herself, the strong confident girl she was always meant to be.
But when everything she thought she knew becomes jeopardized by one little secret, Riley loses sight of all the progress she has made.
In the end she must find the strength to face the obstacles of her past and of her present.
Follow Riley along the way as she uncovers things about herself and the people around her that she never thought possible. Everything Riley stands for will be put to the test on this journey of love, friendship and forgiveness as she learns that sometimes, we have to let go of those who hurt us to truly live like we should.
