Elizabeth Angelique Schroeder has an issue, and it's her extremely oblivious mother. Her mother's plans on making her daughter an actress on television, and to possibly take over her mothers real estate  business in the future are constant, and all Eliza truly wants to do is sit in her room and paint and make music.
