After moving to a new city in a new country, Bridgette Schilling is attending a new school with a dark past. On the first day of school, Bridgette learns of a murder that happened the previous year within school grounds, the murder of a student. The culprit was never caught. At first, Bridgette is fascinated by the mystery, but it soon becomes a burden when she meets her first real friend at the school, none other than the dead Ashlyn Griffin. Unfortunately, Ashlyn recalls nothing of the time she was murdered, and as her best friend, Bridgette is obligated to uncover the truth. Along the way, Bridgette will discover love, more unlikely friends, and she'll be put in many dangerous scenarios.
