After moving to a new city in a new country, Bridgette Schilling is attending a new school with a dark past. On the first day of school, Bridgette learns of a murder that happened the previous year within school grounds, the murder of a student. The culprit was never caught. At first, Bridgette is fascinated by the mystery, but it soon becomes a burden when she meets her first real friend at the school, none other than the dead Ashlyn Griffin. Unfortunately, Ashlyn recalls nothing of the time she was murdered, and as her best friend, Bridgette is obligated to uncover the truth. Along the way, Bridgette will discover love, more unlikely friends, and she'll be put in many dangerous scenarios. But in the end, will trying to solve a deadly mystery cause Bridgette more harm than good, or will she uncover the truth about what happened the day that Ashlyn died?

Kevin and his friend from elementary school, along with his other friends are just finishing up their sophomore year of high school.
