She took a deep breath and stepped forward. Her hand stretched out in front of her, towards him. “It’s you.” She whispered, and took another step closer. Her breath came out as white puffs. It rose up into the night, and then faded away. As she took another step closer, he stepped back. “How?” she breathed out. Her voice sounded breathy and seemed to disappear as quickly as the white puffs of her breath. He stepped back again, then turned around and started to walk away. The world was silent, not a thing could be heard. “Who are you?” she called softly, hesitantly, then more loudly and more desperately, “Who am I?” just as he disappeared from sight.
