Ah, yes, the infamous self-insert fic, bane of good literature. Often spawned by immature writers who know no better.
An avid Call of Duty fan did just this when she was a 7th grader, and this is the frightening result.
Meet Scarab, a woman in the Task Force 141, falls in love with Soap and goes on this bizarre adventure as I retcon the plot and bastardize the campaign of a video game best known for it's sequel baiting and squealing little boys on multiplayer.
Or, if you'd rather read the childish summary:
"Warning, there is some bad lanuage like the f*ck. So if you don't want to read swears then don't bother. But we see what would happen with call of duty, when there are a few other chapters involved."
(This story is being published word for word, exactly how it looked when I first wrote it. Yes, you are going to see typos everywhere. Yes, I was 100% serious when I wrote this.)

26 parts Complete Mature
Samantha Hall is a highly skilled soldier who's been recruited into the Task Force 141 by her father, General Shepherd. She knows she'll have no problem fitting in, especially when connecting to the other comrades, except one thing challenges that...and his name is John MacTavish. With a stubborn and sarcastic attitude, "Soap" is sure to drive Sam to the brink of insanity. Until he doesn't. Now with a more meaningful relationship with the handsome soldier, Sam finds herself questioning the trust she has in her father, especially as he turns his back on his own men. In a war of alliances, Samantha finds herself stuck between two different worlds: one with Soap and one without. Upon becoming part of a dangerous game, Sam is sure to stay with the men she knows best. Doing so will result in unprepared deaths and haunting twists, but Sam hopes the training instilled in her brain will help her evade the bullets whistling around her. ✧ ✧ ✧ WARNING- Will contain mature scenes that can include blood/violence, strong/offensive language, sexual activity, and alcohol/drugs. Read at your own preparation and discretion. DISCLAIMER- I do not own anything related to Modern Warfare 2 or 3. That belongs to affiliates of Call of Duty and all game creators. However, Samantha, some plot, and some situations are my ideas entirely, so I reserve all rights to them. Please do not take without asking. NOTE TO READERS- Thank you so much for the support and for continuing to read my stories. I truly hope you enjoy this fanfic from the traditional (2009) games that inspired me to write Call of Duty for y'all. I love each and every one of you so much!

Price discovered you as a young girl whose family had been violently and unjustly taken away from her. As there were no other options for you, Price took you in and raised you as his own daughter. During your teenage years, you underwent extensive training with him and his team. Eventually, Price became the captain of a task force known as "The 141." After excelling as a recruit and working your way up the ranks, you were selected by Price to join this team. While most of your teammates welcomed you with open arms, some believed that the only reason you were there was because of your relationship with the captain. Will you prove them wrong?
