"Goodbye, Oliver." I say, softly.

He looks up at me, tears in his eyes. "Why do you leave now?"

"Because I'm going to fix myself before I see you again." I promise.

"You don't need to be fixed."

"I need to be fixed, Oliver. I'm Shadow and Guardian at heart. No room for Elemental. I'll miss playing with water, though." I joke, the humor running dry.

Oliver's eyes grow dark.

"Just go." He says, closing his eyes. This was his true emotions showed. "What do you want me to say next, Sage?" He asks in a demanding manner. "That I'm okay knowing what those scars mean? That I know at any moment, something can burst into my room, and I'd never know? I was better off not knowing!" He spits out every word with venom, and I sense an ending reaching us. "Hell, I was better without you."

"Good." I say shortly, turning my back to him, and picking up my luggage.

I squeezed my way through the abundant number of people, trying to get to the exit. I bumped into a lot of shoulders, until I found an opening. As soon as the door was in my sight, I heard Jessie calling out my name. Her voice grabbed my attention, and I briskly turned around. I knocked right into a tall figure, causing me to lose my balance and fall. All the people dancing blocked my vision so I couldn't grab onto anything to prevent myself from falling. My arms met the hardwood floor as I tried to catch myself, sending a shock of pain through my arms. "Forgive me ma'am." Someone said while extending an arm down to me. "It's fine.
