Even beneath the lukewarm water, his hands felt like someone was setting fire to my waist. For a moment I could just allow myself to slip away from reality and let him take me to this paradise. Almost as suddenly as the burning fire started... it ended. I was unwillingly brought back to the current scene of Stephen's back garden; consumed with music, loud and tipsy classmates, in the heat of the July sunset.
"ahem..."
I honestly didn't know how else to break away from Stephen's grip. So I awkwardly released my body from his comforting arms.
"Great party, right!?"
Thankfully he didn't seem to notice me slip away. Or if he did, he didn't show any signs of it.
"Yeah, well you are the Master at this right?" I replied.
"How about I get us some drinks?"
"Sure." I answered.
I swam over to the edge of the swimmimg pool.
"Indi!!"
"Yeah?" Indi was already heading in my direction.
"Could you pass me a towel?" I asked as I began to make my way up the steps of the pool.
Indi threw a towel at me. She had a smirk on her angelic face.
"What?" I asked, though I knew what this was going to be about.
"You two got rather cosy in there, didn't you?."
"Don't even start with me Indi, I -"
"Okay, okay." She smiled as she walked away, leaving me feeling exposed.

I lifted my head up just in time to see him jump off the wall and into the pool. Zion curse loudly saying "the water is fucking freezing." "C'mon in." I hope he's fucking Joking? I'm not getting in there, not a chance. Zion approached me, his body dripping wet and he held me close to him."Forgive me." He whispered,I raise my eyebrow at him but don't get to ask my question and instead I am thrown into the water. "Zion!" I squeek as I land,he comes waltzing back into the pool and immediately approaches me. Zion grips my waist tightly and keeps us both a float because he can actually touch the floor. Screw being small. "Like I said,forgive me." His eyes look into mine and I turn my head downwards refusing to make any further eye contact. Z's smirk tells me this isn't gonna last long. I repeated my question but this time my voice gave away how worried I was. A single tear dropped onto Evan's palm and suddenly he had swept me up into his arms. I instinctively curled into a ball and hugged him tight, pressing my cheek against his chest and listening to his heart. "Nothing's going to happen Maria. I promise. I love you, so much. Don't worry," he pleaded rocking us back and forth slightly. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry I ruined this moment," was all I could say as silent tears made their way down my cheeks and onto his shirt. "Shhh, it's alright. I don't know how it will all work out, but we will be together, forever. I promise," he assured me, pressing a kiss to my temple. I sniffled and wiped my eyes as I looked up at Evan. He was watching me with concerned, loving eyes and for some unknown reason that look only made me start crying again. This time however I was happy. I was crying with joy because I knew I had someone who I could rely on; someone who would never leave me, someone who would be by my side forever, someone who would stay, stay with me and stay for me, someone who would stay true to me and stay forever in my heart. ~~~~~~~ Maria and Evan meet quite unexpectedly and form a relationship that is stronger than either of them could imagine. I feel uneasy under his gaze, and i feel his eyes burning a hole in the side of my face. "No, I won't explain because it's not important." He says in a low, almost, growl. I flinch and look back into his eyes. I feel hurt by his words and I don't know why, but I know he sees it in my eyes. His faces flashes with regret but it's quickly covered up with his faces going back to it's hard cold look. I feel my heart stop and my face go pale. His look terrified me making me hold my breath. "Breath." He orders. I start to breathe again and just blink at him. "Now go." He orders me again. I flinch involuntarily at his tone and jump back slightly. "Please don't let me walk home alone." I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. Prologue I used to have a nightmare when I was younger. It was always the same order and the same impact. It started with the warmth of sand consuming my feet. I looked up to see a warzone. There were flashes of fire, water, and lightning. It was like a war of the gods. Suddenly I felt the heat on my back. I turned to see neon red and yellow flames consume me. I ran to hide in the bushes that were next to me, feeling out of breath I tried to calm myself down. Strands of dark red hair covered my face. I proceeded to swipe my hair and look at my surroundings. I heard sobbing coming from near me. I trudged through the bushes and toward the sobbing when I got to under a willow tree. "Hey, are you okay?" I asked. I saw a girl with long dark red hair being the cause of the sobbing. She had a huge gash on her forehead with blood trailing down her face. She also had burns on her arms and shirt. The boy was in much worse condition. He was covered in burns, she was covering his face with only his hair showing. They both had the same colored hair. Suddenly my necklace started to glow with an amber color. The girl in front of me had a similar amber glow. Two amber crowns sat on top of the pillow. One female and one male crown sat on top of the pillow. Once I walked closer the glow came back. Once I grabbed the tiara everything became white. I was once again in another room, I attempted to move but I mysteriously couldn't. A neon purple bolt of lightning hit my chest. We both locked eyes with each other. Was that me? Before I could find out, the ground started to be drained into a whole. I was sucked into the drain and everything soon became black and I was free-falling. My back soon hit the ground of the room. I rose to look at the surroundings of the new room I was in. I fell to my knees from the pain. Then a person walked forward and grabbed my face.Complete
