Love hurts. It burns, stings, cuts, aches, and damages. That is why they call it a crush, after all. Sure, sometimes it feels good, it makes you feel whole. That part doesn’t last long though. Think of it this way: the first third of the time is just getting used to the relationship and you don’t get too much time to actually enjoy it because it’s so awkward. The next third is the good part where you’re blissfully in love and happy and everything is so perfect you just can’t believe it. Then comes the final third of the relationship where things are getting more serious, and therefore more difficult. Things are tougher to agree on, all you do is fight. Everything becomes too tense and too hard to bear, so you just give up. At least, that’s how it usually goes. My love didn’t just end like that. It never really ended. It died.
