In the future wars are won by bio-hums.

Olympia comes from a long line of powerful bio-hums but was a late bloomer. Upon gaining her powers she is recruited in to the royal army's elite team under the direct command of the emperor. 

With war raging between empires, Olympia is thrown into the front line of battle. But happens when she enters a romantic relationship with the emperor that is doomed to fail. 

Don't worry this wouldn't  be a cliché, "You are the chosen one," or forbidden romance with a love triangle thrown in the story.
