This is a poem that I wrote about a couple of months after I started my freshman year in college. I'd just started playing "Persona 4 Golden," and I was fascinated by the concept of Shadows, those parts of yourself that you don't want anyone to see, yourself included. I started to wonder about my own Shadow, whether it was even more miserable than my outward persona, and then this happened. 

Even if it's dark, I hope you like it!
