The city of New York is left in complete devastation after a S.H.I.E.L.D. mission goes south. A race against time is lost as two bombs detonate in two busy areas of the city, killing thousands. The explosions were the product of a perfect plan orchestrated by delusional minds, a pair of power-hungry men whose prime objective was to wreak havoc on humanity.
Amongst the debris lies a battle-beaten soldier in the middle of a war zone, his head spinning and lungs filled with ash. Surrounded by death, he searches for life.
This is the story of what he finds.
