She slowly opened her eyes, humming in response. "I need to answer my phone," Yam murmured. Shy reluctantly released her grip, letting go of Yam, and with her, her hope. There was no reason to hold on anymore. Yam reached for her phone and answered, "What?" she exclaimed, forgetting Shy was beside her. The news on the other end of the line unsettled her, making her forget she was still naked. She sat up abruptly in bed. Seeing Yam's naked body, Shy quickly shifted, her heart pounding. Yam had a maddening effect on her. Yam looked at Shy with a sad expression. She was leaving earlier than expected. "I'll be leaving tonight... you can stay here if you want to," Yam said, before grabbing a bathrobe and heading into the bathroom.
