The werewolf pup

My name is Maddie, I'm 15 years old and I'm a werewolf pup. All werewolves are pups from 10-16 or 17. I grew up with a mortal family. After I first turned I left my house. I was found by a scientist that believed in werewolves, named Daniel. He keeps me locked up in a cage in his basement I barely go outside. And he only lets me change out of my wolf state for experiments. I just want to get out of here.

When Dakota, Daniel's nephew, comes to visit for a month and finds out about his pet what will happen, will she finally be freed? Or is Dakota just like his uncle, cruel and heartless?
