This book is about a small town at the edge of Alabama and the city was called Sea City. The Population was one thousand , three hundred and eighty two people. There wasn't a high school or college. There was only one school and it was called Sea City Elementary. The school one could hold a certain amount of kids so children didn't start school until they was nine years old, and when you was fifteen years old you was taken out the school and had to get a job. Sea City has a lot of rules. One of there biggest rules is YOU COULD NEVER LEAVE SEA CITY ALABAMA, and if you where caught trying to leave you would be beaten and thrown in jail. To many people escaped, they was founded and let's just say there not here to tell you. They have a President name Searrance Carter. He was the worse president they had a Sea City. He made the wife cherish the husband. The wife had to do what ever the husband say and if she didn't she would be killed and thrown in Sea City lake. The wife could not kiss the man in public, she could not hug him, and if the men would get the wife pregnant the baby would be taken and placed in the system until the age of four. Will someone be able to escape without getting caught? Your going to find out!
