The truth. They say the truth can set you free. But when you've spent half your life lying, and the other half being lied to, the truth may very well chain you instead. Cameron Ann Morgan isn't your average 16 year old teenager. She would be, if annual reports weren't sent to the CIA base in Langley when she pulled out her first tooth or when she hit puberty. Average could be an option, if there wasn't a file of her first boyfriend in the database labelled, 'Person of Interest.' She might have been ordinary if not targeted by a ruthless mob who's motto is assassination. She may be normal, that is -if she weren't a spy. Enter three best friends, a mysterious boy and several clandestine operatives as they ride this crazy roller coaster of espionage in their fight to survive. And cliché or not, to save the world. ⁂ formally known as; Spying is My Thing ⁂

I used to think secrets were like perfume - easy to wear, easy to hide, intoxicating if you chose the right kind. My husband still kisses me goodnight with the same soft smile, never noticing the faint trace of gun oil beneath the scent of jasmine on my skin. He thinks I'm just another bored wife with too much time and too little purpose, but every night, when he drifts to sleep, I slip out of the silk sheets and into a world painted in blood and shadows. The men he calls friends - the ones who toast at our dinner table - don't realize their names are already on my list. And as for the man I shouldn't be loving... well, he's the only one who knows who I really am.
