Sliver Rose Mary-Ann Star is a 15 year old girl. Her parents and siblings are an exploring family, they travel the world. Much of her clothing is modern but other parts are not. She is well educated by her parents and teaches her younger siblings. For the first time she is going to stay with some family, her fathers brother and wife and step-son, in England. On arrival they find out that in the last 7 years they have two new cousins they know nothing about. Her parents leave her and her siblings with these strange people... but they don't return.
Now her parents are dead, they all have to go to school. She fills up with anger, her loss made her not care. Her step-cousin is not the one to care either, he is the school bad boy. They all get sent to boarding school...
