"Why do you do this to me? Why do you push me away when you're sad?" I asked him, tears running down my cheeks and smudging the makeup I had worked hard on. All I wanted was to get him to stay. I thought maybe if I tried to be more supportive, he'd love me like I loved him. But all he ever did was make up crazy dreams. And we both knew well enough he would leave them behind... Like he would do with me. "Because I know, that when I leave, you'll move on. I'll just be stuck in place, crying over a girl I'll never be good enough for." He answered, his eyes dripping with fresh tears.
