Wrath of the Broken One

This first book in the Tale of the Scorpion series details young Garret's origins, and his initial training via a Thyrean assassin named Etanos. Their adventure begins when they uncover a vast underground organization dealing in the slave trade. Together, they work to bring down the gang, free the slaves in their possession, and defeat a local Lord who is highly involved in their activities. Along the way, the two discover that another assassin, one of mysterious origin, is on the hunt for them and will stop at nothing to destroy them.
