" Yes Elizabeth. He will turn seventeen In two months. Does you darling daughter have a boyfriend?"

" No she doesn't."

"Does she know?"

" I wish our husbands never made that deal."

Their circumstances do not define their worth as human beings. Moreover, it's not your place to question how they ended up where they are now. You knew this day would come, didn't you?" She dismissively shrugs, like it's nothing, still insisting "I really won't let my daughter marry a bastard son Thomas" Turning towards a silhouette behind her, she smiles in triumph while suggesting, "Let your late brother's child marry him instead.
