With dark wavy hair, extremely pale skin and striking eyes- is Kiya Kale. At the age of five she found out she was a witch. She watched her mother frantically trying to hide her children while the Raiders ransacked their village...Kiya forced herself to listen to the piercing screams from outside, and the cries of her mother and siblings...she swore to take revenge.

Now, at fourteen, awaiting her fifteenth birthday, Kiya is on her own in the world once more. Already having mastered her powers, she travels in look for things to do while she plots her revenge on the Raiders- otherwise known as the King's Men. Coming across her path, she finds Vincent and Mary, two best-friends who wish to travel with her. Along the way their friendship strengthens. But of course, she stumbles across a love she wishes was there- plus dangers of all kinds. Kiya Kale is ready to begin her journey.
