In her seventeen years, Alisa has seen more than her share of death. Three years ago rogues attacked, killing her parents and leaving Alisa alone.
Now she's promised herself to find out exactly what happened on that terrible night three years ago. She wants to know why those rogues attacked, and who they were.
But everything changes in a moment.
Suddenly, she is thrown into a world she never dreamed existed. One with strange allies, and an organization that will stop at nothing to use her for their own agenda.
For the first time in years, Alisa is terrified. Terrified of the people after her, and her sudden unexplainable feelings for a certain blue-eyed shifter. She isn't sure what will happen next.
